What are the dates of the next "Philly Show"?
The 53rd Philly Non-Sports Card Show will be held on October 9-10, 2010.
Why is this show called "The Philly Non-Sports Card Show" if it is going to be held in Allentown?
The "Philly Non-Sports Card Show" is the oldest show of its kind in the country, dating back to the mid-1980s. From its inception through the Spring 2007 show, the show has been run by Frank and Phyllis Reighter. The show is now run jointly by the Reighters and Non-Sport Update magazine and we retain the show's heritage by continuing to use the "Philly" name.
Why the Merchants Square Mall? And why are you running a "mall show"?
The Merchants Square Mall is a collectibles and antique market. It is not a mall with Macy's and The Gap. Inside MSM, you will find over 100,000 square feet of specialty shops, antiques, and collectibles with approximately 40 vendors and on-site parking for 550 vehicles. The MSM vendors will be open during our show hours for anyone who would like to visit their shops after attending the show. There is also a restaurant on-site and it will be open for business during show hours.
Are there other things in the area that my non-collecting family members and/or friends might enjoy while I shop at the show?
Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom is just 5 miles from The Merchants Square Mall. The amusement park offers 200 acres of more than 100 rides, games, restaurants, and attractions. The Sands Casino in Bethlehem, PA is just 7 miles from the Merchants Square Mall. Additionally, the antiques and collectibles vendors inside The Merchants Square Mall are a lot of fun to shop at.
Three Things You Need To Know Before Attending The Philly Non-Sports Card Show In Allentown, PA
1. The show will be held on Saturday and Sunday. In other words, the show is not open for business on Friday as it has been previously. There will be dealer set-up hours on Friday, however.
2. You will not find Gap Kids in the Merchants Square Mall ;) {see above}. You will find books, clocks, coins, comics, die cast banks, ephemera, glassware, Hot Wheels, and a host of other antiques and collectibles.
3. The Philly Non-Sports Card Show will be held in Allentown, not Philly.
